Coronavirus (Covid-19) Response

Dear Family,

It is our hope that you well amidst the COVID-19 crisis we are currently facing as a community and as a nation. We have been monitoring updates very closely as the government lockdowns and social distancing guidelines have a significant impact on this year’s camp. Beyond these guidelines, we are also assessing the situation to ensure the safety and health of all camp participants this year.

From an operation standpoint, we are still planning towards having camp this year and trusting the Lord His grace to heal the world from this pestilence. Camp registration for the 2020 YuhGlo Summer Retreat is STILL OPEN. and we encourage you to register.

Before you begin your application, please take note of the following information to ensure a smooth process of camp coordination.

1. Registration Fee

Regular Registration: Regular registration is $150 with a $5 processing fee that is paid directly to the credit card processing company. Regular registration closes on June 9th, 2020.

Late Registration: Registration cost will rise to $175 on June 10th until registration is permanently closed on July 2nd, 2020. We encourage all attendees to register early to avoid the additional cost.

Installment Payment: For the first time, you will be able to pay for camp in installments! The rate per month will be based upon the month in which you complete your registration and the deductions will be made automatically. In event that you decide to pay off camp early before the end of your installment billing, kindly email camp@yuhglo.org.

2. Eligibility

After years of hosting the camp, YuhGlo has determined that our programming is most suitable for attendees who are at a minimum in high school. Thus to be eligible to attend camp, an applicant is at a minimum a high school student.

3. General Information.

Email & Phone Number: YuhGlo communicates via email and phone so when applying to attend camp it is imperative that you provide an email that you access regularly and a phone number that you have access to.

4. Transportation

Pickup Locations: YuhGlo has bus pickup locations in Atlanta, GA, Burtonsville, MD, and Lorton, VA. It is the responsibility of the attendee to arrange their transportation to and from the pickup locations above. If you live in a state that does not have a pickup location listed above, you may select and travel to a pickup location closest to you to board a bus.

5. Driving Independently

Driving Solo: YuhGlo makes adequate transportation plans to accommodate all registered attendees using our charters. So we highly encourage you to indicate on your application if you have intentions of driving independently to camp. By doing so, you will help us reduce the cost of acquiring buses that will not be utilized.

6. Dietary & Medical restrictions.

Health: YuhGlo seeks to make camp an enjoyable experience for all attendees. So, if you have strict dietary restrictions or any prevailing medical conditions, kindly indicate it in as much detail as you can provide on the application.

7. Refund Policy

  1. All cancellations must be made by June 9th, 2020. 
  2. A fee of $60.00 will apply to all cancellations made before June 10th, 2020 and after this date, no refunds will be given.
  3. By registering, you are agreeing to the refund policy.
