Coronavirus (Covid-19) Response

Dear Family,

It is our hope that you well amidst the COVID-19 crisis we are currently facing as a community and as a nation. We have been monitoring updates very closely as the government lockdowns and social distancing guidelines have a significant impact on this year’s camp. Beyond these guidelines, we are also assessing the situation to ensure the safety and health of all camp participants this year.

From an operation standpoint, we are still planning towards having camp this year and trusting the Lord His grace to heal the world from this pestilence. Conference registration for the 2021 YuhGlo Summer Conference is STILL OPEN. and we encourage you to register.

Before you begin your application, please take note of the following information to ensure a smooth process of conference coordination.

1. Registration Fee

There will be NO REGISTRATION FEE for the 2021 YuhGlo Summer Conference. However, registration spots will be administered on a first come first serve basis

Note: A brief survey will be sent out to all registered attendees 14 days prior to the conference. This survey will include COVID symptom questionnaire as well as the attendance confirmation of all registered attendees. Completion of this survey is mandatory in order to confirm your registration.

2. Eligibility

After years of hosting the camp, YuhGlo has determined that our programming is most suitable for attendees who are at a minimum in high school. Thus to be eligible to attend camp, an applicant is at a minimum a high school student.

Note: This year’s conference will be attended by both virtual and live audiences. Due to COVID restrictions, we are capped at 100 seats. Registration will be conducted on a first come first serve basis.

3. General Information.

Email & Phone Number: YuhGlo communicates via email and phone so when applying to attend camp it is imperative that you provide an email that you access regularly and a phone number that you have access to.

4. Transportation

YuhGlo conference attendees are required to provide their own transportation to and from the conference. YuhGlo WILL NOT be responsible for influencing or coordinating any transportation efforts for attendees this year. 

5. Accomdation

YuhGlo conference attendees are required to provide their own accommodation for the duration of the conference. YuhGlo WILL NOT be responsible for influencing or coordinating any accommodation efforts for attendees this year.

6. COVID -19 Protocols

As the world is slowly getting a handle over the COVID-19 virus, we would like to ensure the safety of our guests and attendees during this year’s conference. As a result, we will  honor the social distance rule of 6 feet apart, washing of hands and wearing face coverings at all times. In doing so, certain things must be put in place and carried out each time while attending sessions. All conference participants will need to adhere to the following protocol, if planning to attend a conference in person.

  1. You must register online prior to attending the conference in person. Failure to register may result in your being turned away at the door.
  1. Do not enter the building without a face covering. 
  1. Be prepared to have your temperature taken upon entering the building. 
  1. Please sanitize your hands upon entering the building. 
  1. Be prepared to answer the required CDC guideline questions, such as:
  • Have you traveled out of the DC metro area in the last 14 days? 
  • Have you received your COVID vaccine? 
  • Have you been in contact with anyone that has tested positive with COVID 19 in the last 14 days? 
  • Have you been experiencing any cold or flu-like symptoms in the last 7 days? 
  1. Once cleared, you will be directed to enter the sanctuary and be seated, sitting 6 feet apart from your neighbor.
  2. Once in the building you must practice appropriate social distancing.
